The DRV has a LAN interface that enables it to connect to the internet. Hikvision provides noncommercial mobile phone apps and desktop applications that enable users to access and view CCTV cameras remotely. The only requirement being availability of internet connection.
The CCTV installer will do configurations on the router to allow the owner to view CCTV cameras on smartphone or the computer whether at home or while away.
The Internal disk storage space
The 4-CH DVR has an internal hard disk storage slot that keeps CCTV camera recording for quick playback when need be. Ordinarily, the DVR has a single SATA interface with capability to support 6TB capacity internal storage hard disk.
Be that as it may, the 6TB hard disk can store HD quality camera recordings for up to 2 to 3 months. Memory rewrite will automatically begin the moment internal hard disk becomes full. Thus older recordings will be deleted to create space for the most current recordings.
